prs42b-erg9 is a plasmid featuring an upstream and downstream homologous region for ERG9 integration, with a HXT1 promoter sitting in within. It swaps the ERG9 promoter in genome of Saccharomyces cerevisiae with HXT1 promoter through homologous recombination. It was applied into our project to replace ERG9 promoter in genome of Saccharomyces cerevisiae with HXT1 promoter, knocking down expression level of ERG9, which promotes production of (–)-α-bisabolol in yeast.
